A free house, so the beer changes
The White Crow isn't tied to one brewery. That means Stuart and Helen choose what goes on the bar, and they use it to give the region's micro-breweries a place to pour.
Lancashire and the north west have seen a whole wave of small breweries start up in the last few years. Being free of a brewery tie lets us widen the range of real ales and put their beers on the pumps.
The casks rotate, so the best way to know what's on is to come in and look at the pump clips, or check our Facebook page. When they're gone, they're gone.
There's wine, gin and soft drinks too, and a sheltered smokers' area outside.
